After all that saluting and crashing of feet - your socks would be at half mast also Boabbie - looks as if his Mother has him in hand though - I bet he slept well that night !
Just for fun's sake and totally irrelevant:
When I was a kid and we were wearing that type of socks, and they'd fall on our ankles, we used to say: rain's a-coming...!
Where did that come from, I have no idea, and it had nothing to do with watching parades...
