Ron,
Another extroadinary man doing unbelievable things and not talking about it.
These men and women were what made Britain great. So many of them did tasks others would have baulked at but did not ask for honours in fact were surprised when they got them.
Yes deerves a place on the blog.

Ron - it's always difficult to lose a good friend and while I have read of this cahps activities before - I had not realised your connection with him.
A terrible loss to all of Britain, not only your people.
Perhaps you could write a little more about Derek for the Blog, Ron? It would be nice to learn more about him.
