Ron, I could not possibly comment!! Be in awe of your prowess with a camera possibly? Sit back and enjoy, probably? I save the pithy comments for the people who raise the hairs on my neck. Keep on posting Ron, "errr" or is that commenting? or do we mean writing witty remarks to other peoples efforts.
Perhaps a word of explanation of how this different confusing nomenclature arose.
Blogs (Web logs) were initially conceived as personal journals and on-line newsletters written by one person. That person posted and all and sundry, by design, could comment on what had been posted.
The concept was then extended to a group of contributors, all invited by the blog owner. These fellow contributors (now called guests) are granted posting privileges.
Excellent photo, by the way. Don't forget another of Google's little tricks. If you pass your mouse pointer over an image you will see a hand appear; click on the photo and you will see it full size.
Looked at Ron's computer, it needs dusting, I could see one speck in the corner. Apart from that, "how the hell does he find anything on that screen" ye gods and little fishes he needs an extension screen. I keep all my stuff in easy fin d files that pop up with the start button and clear off all the little used icons, much easier.
Looks like Ron has invested in a 19" square flat panel monitor since I was operating his PC in e-mailing Peter ??? I now have a 17" flat panel and it is way ahead of the one I had for the past 7 years !
The code for your photo is at the top of your browser at that link. To help you identify it it starts with http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/ ..... It is too long to paste it in here, hence the link. Copy that address.
All you have to do now is go to your Profile and click Edit Your Profile. It's a very large blue button that you can't possibly miss, just click it.
Scroll down to the heading Photograph in bold orange text. There you will see the words Photo URL with an elongated window to the right.
Paste the code into that window. Then scroll right down to the bottom and click the large orange button labelled Save Profile.
-Peter - you are STILL assuming that I can actually sign in and open up my profile and do all the things that you have been instructing me on - I have just opened up this a.m. but last night before closing - I did try again - to sign in that is - and as usual - nothing happened. I shall now try once more and hopefully Google have now rectified their regional cock up
Well now - I'll be blowed - I did nothing - saw nothing - heard nothing BUT i did scroll down to my last "commenrt" - and lo and behold - there in all it's glory is my fizzog !
...... and while my fizzog may grace these pages - I am still unable to sign in and post a message but am restricted to comments only !... and the RH column has disappeared so I don't know if I am listed as a contributor - or not !
