Ron - this is the sort of chap who belonged in the Paras - couldn't care less for himself - but cared for others - he will be sadly missed in many areas.
Glad that you have posted this and it reminds us of why it was important to rid mainland Europe of fascism.
On returning home from the war, Gerald Flamberg must have been quite dismayed to find that something like Oswald Mosley's Union Movement could even have a chance to flourish in this country. To carry on the fight against these anti-semites just shows how strong his character must have been at the time.
