Some news and encouraging words from the BBC WW2 People's War Team
We are all very well, but feel a bit like something is missing when we come into work in the morning - the site was always so alive!
We are very impressed with the blog, and good to see all the veterans of the website on there.
Not long until the archive goes up, I will let you know when it's live.
Best wishes

Good to see the "People's War" archiving is progressing. Some of the stories I posted still don't seem to have been allocated a category, so I hope that they do eventually all 'find a home'!
Strangely, since the end of the "People's War" postings I've been writing up various notes I made about the WW1 period I picked up while obtaining stories about WW2. I've donated a fair bit of this material to the Border Regiment Museum, and I have a lot more I intend to send them. By a quirk of fate, I seemed to have such a lot of First World War material.
