Welcome to "Footslogger"

Hi Ray (AKA David Donald)

Welcome aboard !

I'm so glad to see that you made it and I look forward to reading some of the stories that you never had the time to put on to the old BBC site, we 78 Div lads must stick together :)

The art of "Blogging" is new to all of us, so, if I may make a siggestion, call up the FAQ section (that Peter has so painstakingly assembled on the right of this screen) and print it out for future reference.

Cheers for now

Welcome footslogger -
I always looked forward to your contributions on the BBc series and I do so again, as I know that you have many tales of 'derring do' - particularly in Cairo and other less hospitable areas you visited in your cook's tour.
Cheers

Hi Footslogger,
Glad to see you landed at last. You certainly caused consternation in the ranks with your double entry we thought the fifth column had raised its head again.
Look forward to reading more of your stories.
Regards Frank

Welcome Footslogger. I too look forward to reading your stories.

If they are longer than a few paragraphs (which I hope they are) see the FAQ on the best way to post a 'long' story.

For an example of how to do this go to the 'February 2006' archive and scroll down to Frank's Post titled A London Interlude The war not quite over.

Hope to read your Profile soon, Footslogger, read the FAQ for guidance on how to complete it.

-------

This seems an opportune moment to remind everyone about Profiles. We now have 13 members with less than half having completed a Profile, one without a photo.

Completing your Profile is probably the hardest thing you will have to do in a Blog, but it is really very straightforward and you will learn a lot about blogging in the process. If you are reluctant to do so because you wish to maintain a certain amount of anonymity or privacy, you can still have a Profile which does that. You can make it as light-hearted as you wish, so get cracking :)
