Nice celebrates the French Resistance

In case any of the regular readers of this blog happen to be in the South of France next week, here is the program of the yearly Nice Film Festival dedicated to WW2, and in particular to the Resistance movements.

Nice has a Museum of the Resistance that focuses on what happened in the area, it is extremely well-documented and run by Professor Jean-Louis Panicacci, probably the most learned person on the matter. Should you visit the area, don't miss it - even though it is hidden away in a most unlikely place - opposite major car dealers!
